The harness is super comfy and well adjustable, I like the waist strap adjustments in particular but the overall best thing about the pack is the weight! So much lighter than a regular canvas pack and I really noticed the difference. As a rule, I don't pack anything on the outside of my pack but I can see how a foam matt or tent poles & pegs would fit nicely on the sides or bottom loops.
